Current projects

These are the main projects I am actively working on.

Project 1:
IceNet | AI based Sea Ice Forecasting

Description:

IceNet is a deep learning sea ice forecasting system developed by an international team and led by the British Antarctic Survey and The Alan Turing Institute. It is a free, open-source ecosystem for sea ice forecasting that provides the ability to download, process, train and predict from end to end.

Role:

Software development lead and maintainer of IceNet, including developing interfaces for PyTorch and JAX models into the existing infrastructure, and website design amongst others.

Project 2:
CANARI-ML | AI based Wind Forecasting

Description:

Utilising AI for predictability of zonal wind in the Northern hemisphere.

Role:

Software development lead, developing codebase based on Torch Lightning and UNet architecture as proof of concept (Work in Progress). It will be open-source.

Project 3:
IceNet Dashboard

Description:

After forecasts are generated, visualising the results and making them accessible to users, I am currently developing a web dashboard to display the results of IceNet sea ice forecasts.

Role:

Software lead.
